We eat to give energy to our body but we feel fatigue everyday. Maybe the meal we consuming daily is wrong type of food. We often feel sleepy and lethargic after having a heavy meal because our body is using the energy to digest the meal instead of digesting it. Apart from the amount of food consumed by us, the quality of our meal also has a massive impact on our energy level.

Moreover, amidst the ongoing pandemic, which has welcomed physical and emotional challenges in our lives, we feel more tired. According to dieticians and pediatricians, the sedentary lifestyle we living today hasn’t helped our health.

If you want to increase your energy level then you must include some energy booster diet in your plate which helps you to gain your energy again. Here’s list please check them out:

Oatmeal:

Oatmeal is full of fiber and nutrients. It’s a whole grain cereal which could provide long-lasting energy to you. When you having a bowl of oatmeal in the morning then it will keep you going for hours. You will feel afresh and no any kind of fatigue will touched you. It supplies energy evenly to the entire body.

Goji Berries:

Goji berries has antioxidants, fibers, minerals, and vitamins. This fruit can be blend with yogurt, smoothies, sauces and baked products. You can eat them raw also. It is a kind of antioxidant which is slow to digest and releases energy.

Quinoa:

Quinoa is a combination of protein and carbohydrates which makes it an energy booster. It also contains vitamins, minerals, and fibers. It’s glycemic index is low, which indicates that carbs are slowly digestive and boosting the overall energy.

Beans:

Beans are great source of protein. The best time to consume beans in the morning which will make you active all time. They are also rich in fibers to help in slow digestion. Rajma, Chickpea, pea, legume are the source of beans. You can eat them with rice. Beans help to maintain blood sugar level.

Beets:

Beetroots have antioxidants which improves your flow of blood in your body. Nitrates, which are molecules found in high amounts in beetroot and it’s juice. These molecules generate nitric oxide which allows oxygen to body tissues, so by this energy level increases.

Additionally Beetroot contains carbohydrates, fibers and sugar.

Nuts:

When you have no other option of breakfast in the morning then a handful of Nuts will help you much. They will increase your energy production and make you active the whole day.

Nuts include omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids also antioxidants with carbs and fibers.

Berries:

If you are carving for something sweet like candy bar or sweets then don’t go for them because they contains high amount of sugar which can cause of fatigus, go for berries like Blueberries, Strawberries, Cranberries and Blackberries. Berries have antioxidants, carbs, fibers, and natural sugar which helps to protect you from fatigue. You can add them in your smoothies, and salads.

Dark Chocolate:

Dark Chocolates are good source of energy because they contains low amount of sugar than candy bars and milk chocolate. When you look tiresome then have some portion of dark chocolate you will feel better, your mood will be better. Don’t overdo it. It improves blood flow and lowers the blood pressure. Before buying it keep check the fat include in it.

Hummus:

Hummus is made up with chickpeas, sesame seeds paste, oil and lemon. All these ingredients are good source of energy. The chickpeas contains high source carbs and fibers, sesame seed paste and oil contains good lipids which is beneficial for your body.

Hummus can be consume with veggies, sandwiches and salads.

These foods are full of carbs which can help to boost your energy, increases stamina and strength. So include these foods in your daily diet and you will see good results in the coming days.
